Ferries from Amador Causeway Panama City, ARRIVE on TABOGA ISLAND in 30 minutes to 1 hour (depending on the ferry company you choose)!

+ Calypso Ferry. Amador Causeway by the Smithsonian Research Center & Mi Ranchito, The trip takes one hour. Tel: 314-1730, 390-2403.

+ Private local boat. A water taxi can pick you up on the mainland at Balboa Yacht Club; book in advance please). 30 minutes. $125 estimated, one way. They do not run in late afternoon or at night.

+ Airport Taxi or overnight City Hotel. We can help you by introducing you to a trusted taxi driver to drive you from the airport. If you need help finding a room in the city we are happy to recommend B&B’s or Hotels.

Getting to CERRITO TROPICAL once on the island, you can walk to Cerrito Tropical in about 10 minutes to the left from the pier (we are on a hill) on the main street (look for the yellow sign at the bottom of our hill), or we will have a local taxi-truck pick you up. Most guests prefer to arrive by local taxi - $1.50 per adult. If you cannot find us, we have a new RESTAURANT by the Beach just 2 minutes left from the pier called CALALOO BEACH, FISHBAR & GRILL.
